We're looking for a Maintenance & Compliance Surveyor to oversee properties across the South of England. This is a home-based role with regional travel and occasional visits to the head office in Leeds.

What you'll be doing
  • Managing compliance: gas, electric, fire safety, asbestos, legionella, etc.
  • Surveying void and occupied properties to assess and scope required works
  • Ensuring third-party refurbishments meet internal asset standards
  • Managing contractor performance and project delivery
  • Conducting risk assessments, post-inspections, and tenant satisfaction checks
  • Supporting long-term asset strategy through condition surveys and data updates
What you'll bring
  • 2+ years' post-qualified experience in property surveying or asset management
  • HNC or equivalent qualification
  • Strong knowledge of building construction, legislation, and safety compliance
  • Experience with FRA actions and cyclical maintenance planning
  • Ability to manage workloads independently and drive contractor performance
  • A customer-first approach with empathy for tenants with complex needs
