Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Caerphilly, United Kingdom, is seeking a Mobile HGV Technician on a 50/50 site-based schedule. The role is full-time with a 40-hour week on a rotating shift (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm).

A company van on mobile weeks, fuel card, mobile & tablet are provided. The position requires appropriate technical qualifications, time-served status or NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repairs, and MOT preparation experience.

Description

Mobile HGV Technician & Site Based

We currently have a vacancy for a Mobile HGV Technician & Site Based 50/50 Technician to join our busy Caerphilly Depot.

Shift Patten 40 Hour Week rotating

Mobile breakdown - straight day shift and when site based you fall in to the early & late shift patten below.

Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm rotating

Basic Salary = £45,890 per annum

The Mobile HGV Technician Role

• Complete service and repair documentation and records in accordance with company requirements and standards
• Overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other workshop equipment
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based
