Job summary

Zoomo is hiring an on-site LEV mechanic to service and repair our e-bike fleet at customer sites across different locales. You will work with B2B clients and provide expert advice while upholding Zoomo’s safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and hands-on maintenance, with a typical 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, and potential weekend work when required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience repairing e-bikes; experience with e-cargo bikes, mopeds or autos is a bonus.
• Clean, organized workshop practices are essential.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to learn on the job to repair LEVs.
• Work independently and uphold Zoomo values on customer sites.
• Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and collaborates well.
• Cytech Level 2 bicycle mechanics training or equivalent preferred.
• Able to work with Zoomo teams worldwide as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess a driving license and/or valid CBT.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance and repairs at customer sites using Zoomo vehicles.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers and B2B clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues to keep the e-bike fleet running smoothly.
• Lead and coach the mechanic team and foster a positive work environment.
• Typically Monday–Friday (40 hours) with weekend days as needed.

The Role

• On site LEV servicing and repair: Visiting customer sites, come rain or shine, using a Zoomo supplied vehicle to perform routine maintenance and repairs to our customers LEV's.
• Customer Focus: Provide excellent service to both internal and external customers, including B2B clients, by answering questions and offering expert advice.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Work seamlessly with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of Zoomo's e-bike fleet.
• Leadership and Coaching: Help guide and develop the mechanic team by sharing your knowledge and fostering a positive work environment.
• Typically working Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) but this may include weekend days as necessary.

Requirements

• Has extensive experience repairing e-bikes, any experience fixing e-cargo bikes, mopeds and automobiles is a bonus.
• Strong Workshop Practices: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Strong problem solving approach and ability to learn on the job to repair a wide range of LEV's
• Works well independently and can be trusted to uphold Zoomo's values and standards whilst on customer sites
• Maintains meticulous attention to detail and prioritizes high-quality work
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively
• Cytech Level 2 bicycle mechanics training or equivalent would be ideal but not essential.
• To be able to work as part of a team, collaborating with the Zoomo teams worldwide
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Has a driving license and / or valid CBT
