Job summary

Wells & Co. Bedford, United Kingdom, is seeking a Mobile Bar Operations Technician & Driver to support our mobile bar services at events and festivals. The role involves delivery, installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment with a focus on safety and customer service.

You will travel to venues, set up bars, and provide on-site support, working evenings and weekends as required. A full UK driving licence and experience in hospitality or beverage systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Living close to Bedford and holding a full UK driving licence.
• Experience with beer dispense systems, cellar equipment, cooling systems, pumps or CO2.
• Experience setting up temporary bars or event infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Calm under pressure with proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mobile bars and equipment to festivals, pubs, exhibitions and events.
• Safely load, transport and unload equipment using a company vehicle.
• Install, set up and commission mobile bar equipment to specifications.
• Provide customers and event teams with guidance on safe operation.
• Offer remote technical support during hire and attend site to resolve issues.
• Dismantle and recover equipment after events.
• Clean, inspect and prepare equipment for future hires.
• Identify and report faults or missing items.
• Maintain relationships with customers, venue operators and event organisers.
