Job description

Mobile UAT Analyst - Automation Tester iOS Python

Duration: 6 months

Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working

Rate: Inside IR35, rate to Umbrella £300pd

Qualifications and Experience:

1. 7+ years in Quality Assurance and/or User Acceptance Testing with 5 years of experience in test automation for end-to-end systems.
2. Expertise in Python with a focus on writing test automation scripts.
3. Expertise in iOS automation.
4. Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium.
5. Experience designing and creating test automation frameworks and tools, focusing on End-to-End testing and mobile device testing.
6. Experience with testing activities across the entire project lifecycle from inception to delivery.
7. Front-End Development: Design and implement user interfaces using JavaScript and frameworks like React.
8. Back-End Development: Develop and maintain server-side logic using Python, manage APIs, and integrate third-party services.
9. Database Management: Ensure data integrity and security by designing and managing databases in Postgres.
10. DevOps & Maintenance: Implement CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, monitor application performance, and troubleshoot issues.

Optional Skills:

• Experience with tools like Charles, GIT, Jenkins.
• Experience automating data analytics and reporting.
• Understanding of software build tools and CI/CD integration.
• Experience coordinating with engineering and product teams for issue resolution.
• Creating test reports, including progress, status, defects, and risks.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute and track testing/validation efforts for mobile systems as part of the UAT team.
2. Develop test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage.
3. Test on-device experiences for various mobile applications.
4. Write automated tests for iOS applications using Python and Swift.
5. Manage multiple initiatives, prioritize testing, and ensure timely delivery.
6. Document testing scope, results, and associated tickets for resolution.
7. Communicate testing status and progress through reports and metrics.
