Job summary

The JobsBoard is seeking an Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser to cover multiple practices up to 2 hours from your home. You will assess patients, recommend and fit hearing solutions, and provide ongoing support in a patient-focused environment.

We expect a Masters in Audiology with certification and 1–5 years of experience. A strong team player with excellent communication skills will thrive in this role that combines care with advisory duties.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Hearing Aid Audiology or related field.
• Valid Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser certification.
• 1–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient with audiometric equipment and hearing aid programming.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough hearing assessments to determine hearing loss.
• Provide guidance on hearing solutions including hearing aids and implants.
• Select, fit and dispense hearing aids with proper programming.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to fine-tune devices.
• Offer counselling and support to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Stay updated with advancements in audiology and technology.
• Participate in marketing and promotional activities to raise awareness.
