A local government entity in Scotland is seeking a Mobile Area Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across Dunfermline and Ballinry. Job Details
We currently have a new post of Mobile Area Cleaning Supervisor covering from Dunfermline to Ballinry area. This FC5 Supervisor role will be required to work under the direction of the Area Coordinator carrying out duties as per the Role Profile. Duties will include:
Monitoring quality standards, overseeing and providing Training/support, Recruitment, Compliance, identifying/maintaining cleaning equipment requirements/inventory and providing direct support to all cleaning staff including line management responsibilities.
We currently have a permanent vacancy working 30 hours per week as required Monday to Friday on a 52-week contract covering:
Based in Dunfermline covering from Dunfermline through to Ballingry.
The hours of will normally be 2:00pm to 8:00pm travelling to Schools and Nurseries in the area, however there may be occasional morning visits required.
You will earn a competitive salary of £28,175.91 to £30,691.29 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
£15.01 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile for staff using their own car.
Pay is 4 weekly.

The Person
If you meet the essential qualification criteria as per the Role Profile, we’d like to hear from you:
BICs Certificate or equivalent.
IT, Literacy, Numeracy & Budget skills.
Manual handling skills.
Supervisory experience.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
The postholder will be expected to travel round multiple Education, Social Work/Housing and Commercial units within a designated area.
A driving licence is essential for this role.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
