We are looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment. This includes service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps. You may also work on refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multideck, or ice machines.
The role involves working with various manufacturer plants like Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, and LG. Understanding installation designs, troubleshooting procedures, and seeking manufacturer technical support independently is desirable. You will be responsible for completing all work-related documentation accurately and timely, including logs of inspections, reports, and remedial work.
Candidates must have a full current driving license and be willing to participate in an on-call rota. Manual tasks such as manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces are required. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to use a handheld computer device (PDA). You should be highly self-motivated, solutions-focused, able to work independently, and enjoy teamwork.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Maintenance or Facilities Management environments. Relevant qualifications such as FGAS & ODS regulations, a time-served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ, or equivalent are required. Knowledge of health & safety, permit to work procedures, and safe systems of working is also necessary. Training, development, progression, and internal promotion opportunities will be provided.
