We are looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to undertake maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment. Responsibilities include service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps. You may also work on refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multideck, or ice machines.
You will have the opportunity to work with various manufacturer plants, including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, and LG. Understanding installation designs and manufacturer troubleshooting procedures, along with the ability to seek technical support independently, is desirable. Accurate completion of work-related documentation, logs, reports, and remedial work is expected.
Applicants must have a full current driving license and be willing to participate in an On-Call rota. The role requires manual tasks, working at heights, in confined spaces, and manual handling. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential, including proficiency with handheld computer devices (PDA). Candidates should be self-motivated, solutions-focused, capable of working independently, and team-oriented.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment, with relevant qualifications such as FGAS & ODS regulations, a time-served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3/NVQ, or equivalent. Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of work is also required.
