Job summary

Wates Group seeks a Mobile Engineer (Air Conditioning) to join our Mobile team, covering the East Anglia area near Cambridge. You will perform planned and reactive AC maintenance and repairs across client sites, ensuring high safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, possesses an essential F-Gas certification, and can work independently with strong problem-solving skills. A full UK driving licence is required and a company van is provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• F-Gas certification is essential for the role.
• Proven AC maintenance and repair experience required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service while working on client premises.
• Complete all required documentation and reporting accurately.
