Job description

Mobile AC Engineer – London & M25 – £40,000 – £45,000 + Travel

There is a new opportunity for an experienced AC engineer to join us with a client portfolio consisting of Commercial properties.

As a business, we are based in Kent and have been operating successfully across the UK for over 15 years. We now employ over 30 engineers and are continually growing. This role is suited for a fully qualified AC Engineer with a strong background in servicing, maintenance, and breakdowns, looking for a fast-paced role within the industry. The ideal candidate should be based around or inside the M25.

Duties Include:

1. Carrying out planned maintenance and reactive work, including fault finding, testing, repair, and preventative maintenance of VRV's, VRF's, Splits, Multi Splits, AHU's / Fans (Ventilation systems). You may also be required to support other building services duties.
2. Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed.
3. Maintaining accurate job records and documentation.
4. Participating in a call-out rota and attending site emergencies outside of normal hours when required.
5. Completing tasks at heights using platforms, scaffolding, ladders, with all necessary training and PPE provided.

Salary & Package:

• £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
• Travel time paid after the first half hour
• Parking and congestion charges paid
• Company van and fuel card with private use
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
• Overtime paid after 9.5 hours (door to door) at time and a half; double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays

The Person:

• City & Guilds/NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• FGAS 2079 Cat 1 certification
• Preferably NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• Minimum 5 years' practical experience in air conditioning and refrigeration
• Strong background in service, fault finding, and repairs
