WH Bence have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile AC Electrician to join their team.

Location: Yate, Bristol, BS37 5NG

Salary: £34,000 to £39,520 per annum with OTE £45,000 per annum* (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Working Hours: 40 Hours Per Week, Monday - Friday

We are a highly regarded UK specialist coachbuilder with contracts including the manufacture and conversion of vehicles for emergency services, command & control vehicles, hospitality trailers, and mobile medical units (Breast Screening, MRI, CT, Heart Cath Lab, Chemotherapy, Retinal Clinics).

Mobile AC Electrician - The Role

Due to continued growth, we're seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile AC Electrician. The role is primarily based at our Bristol yard, with support duties across the UK, performing preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on our mobile fleet. The position involves working on unique, specialist vehicles such as trailer-based medical units and emergency service command units. It is suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has an eye for detail, and enjoys solving technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

1. Complete AC installs and servicing
2. Field breakdowns over the phone and assist service engineers with support
3. Maintain and order necessary filters and parts for stock and repairs
4. Ensure job cards are requested from third-party visits and uploaded onto company software
5. Carry out repairs and maintenance on A/C equipment
6. Attend routine maintenance visits
7. Work with third-party suppliers to develop and improve existing chiller systems
8. Monitor chiller emails and reply accordingly, working with Bence service support

You - Essential Qualifications and Skills

• 18th Edition electrical qualification
• Mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Experience in servicing and installing A/C units
• Experience in wiring loom and cable system installation, fault finding, and diagnosis
• Full UK Driving License
• Ability to use initiative for fault finding
