A leading organization in health and social care regulation seeks a Business Development Manager for the Maternity and Newborn Safety Investigation Programme. This role involves managing key programmes, developing strategies, and ensuring alignment with service level agreements while promoting best practices. Contracted Hours: Full time 37 hours per week, with consideration for compressed or job-sharing hours.

Are you committed to helping us regulate health and social care within England? The Maternity and Newborn Safety Investigation Programme is part of a national strategy to improve maternity safety across the NHS in England. Hosted by CQC since October 2023, the programme aims to reduce harm by 50% by 2025, continuing its efforts for the next two years.
The Business Development Manager will manage key programmes and support the programme leadership team by developing strategies, conducting audits, and promoting best practices. You will support the delivery of the MNSI Business Plan and ensure all activities align with the CQC Service level agreements, embodying MNSI values.
We support your success through training, development, and mentorship, fostering a diverse and inclusive culture with various staff networks.
The post holder will be the sole employee with this remit, experienced in fast-paced environments, capable of managing senior relationships, and demonstrating knowledge of MNSI and related organizations. Leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to drive standardization and continuous improvement are essential. You will also coach, develop colleagues, and operate with integrity and openness.
