Job summary

Muller Dairy is recruiting Distribution Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers for the Droitwich depot. This full-time, permanent role involves delivering to supermarkets within the network, with no overnights and flexible AM/PM shifts.

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay, 33 days holiday, enhanced family leave, pension contributions, uniform and onsite parking. OTE around £46,000 per year based on shift premiums.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) required.
• Current CPC and digital driving card.
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs).
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• Self-motivated, reliable and an effective team member.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely deliveries with accurate documentation.
• Prioritise safety and compliance with transport regulations.
• Carry out vehicle and driver checks as required.
• Plan routes and anticipate road works for smooth journeys.
• Represent the business professionally to customers.

We are recruiting for Distribution Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers at our Droitwich Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business. This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy working for a prestigious logistics company, driving a modern and well maintained fleet of vehicles and who are looking for flexibility in their life, we offer full time work schedules, and no overnights stays. As a Distribution Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently product from our distribution depots to supermarkets within the network.

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation.
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.

Class 1 DriverKey Skills & Experience
