Job summary

A leading engineering services provider is currently seeking 4 experienced Coded Welders for both day and night shifts on a major bridge structure project in Birmingham. This short-term contract involves 12-hour shifts with a 12 on 2 off pattern, requiring in-date 111 coding. Successful candidates will have a CSCS Card, valid 111 coding, and relevant safety training. Starting on 23rd June 2025, it offers additional lodge allowance of £60 per day worked.

Qualifications

• Experience with 111 MMA Welders for bridge structure projects.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality requirements.
• IPAF / MEWP / Harness Training is required.
• Safety Critical Medical preferred.
• Proven experience on thick structural steel or heavy infrastructure projects desirable.
• Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

Job Description: We are currently seeking 4 experienced 111 MMA Welders (2 for days, 2 for nights) for a major bridge structure project in Birmingham, starting on 23rd June 2025. This is a short-term intensive contract requiring operatives to work 12 hour shifts on a 12 on 2 off shift structure. Since there is no weld test, operatives will need to have in-date 111 coding.

• IPAF / MEWP / Harness Training
• Safety Critical Medical (preferred)
• Proven experience working on thick structural steel previous bridge or heavy infrastructure projects desirable.
