Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment provider is seeking 6 x Coded Welders for night shifts in Birmingham. Candidates will weld heavy structural steel plates for a bridge project, requiring expertise in 111, 121, and 136 welding methods. A CSCS Card or CCNSG is mandatory, while confined space entry experience is advantageous. Competitive rates with additional lodge allowance available.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy structural steel plate welding.
• Immediate availability for a night shift role.
• Possession of a CSCS Card or CCNSG is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Position: 6 x Coded Welders - Nights

Location: Birmingham

Duration: 12 months

PAYE Direct Rates:

Night Shift

Monday - Friday | 1st 40 Hours | £27.30 per hour + £3.29 per hour holiday pay - £30.59 per hour total

Monday - Friday | Over 40 Hours | £34.42 per hour + £4.15 per hour - £38.57 per hour total

Saturday- £34.42 per hour + £4.15 per hour - £38.57 per hour total

Lodge Allowance: £60.00 per day

Hours: 50 Hours per week | Monday to Friday

The Role:

Coded Welders required immediately for a fast paced project based in Birmingham constructing a bridge structure. All persons will be required to weld heavy structural steel plate, using 111, 121 & 136 to complete the project.

• 121 Submerged Arc
• 136 FCAW Plate F / B
• CSCS Card or CCNSG - Mandatory
• Confined Space Entry - Advantage
• Safety critical medical - Advantage
