Job summary

The Royal Marsden is seeking a supervisor to lead MLA team activities within the Pathology Reception, ensuring timely workflow and targets are met. The role includes recruitment support, training and assessment of MLA and Biomedical Scientist staff, and conducting performance reviews in line with Trust policy.

You will contribute to service development within the Blood Sciences Department at a leading specialist cancer centre, with opportunities for professional development and flexible working

Qualifications

• Supervise, carry out and assign MLA team activities and duties in all specimen reception areas to ensure workflow turnaround time (TAT) targets are achieved.
• Provide training and competency assessments for new MLA staff in Pathology Reception.
• Conduct performance reviews and appraisals in line with Trust policy.
• Recruitment, selection and training support for MLA and Biomedical Scientist staff.
