Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer intern to tackle real customer problems using modern technology. You will own the lifecycle of your code from design to deployment, collaborate with experienced teams, and work in an environment embracing ownership and operational excellence.

Interns will work full-time in-office Monday–Friday, up to 40 hours/week, with mentors and a support network to aid learning and growth during the internship.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree program with at least one term remaining.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to design, build, and operate innovative products and services that delight customers.
• Break down complex problems into well-defined components before implementation.
• Contribute to design and development of scalable, reliable services with distributed-systems scope.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and verify correctness.
• Contribute to clear and accurate technical documentation.
