Job summary

Waymo LLC is seeking a highly motivated researcher in London to contribute to ongoing autonomous driving projects. You will implement research ideas, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and run training/evaluation experiments on multimodal data.

The role requires enrollment in an MSc/PhD program and hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX. Hybrid/remote options are available within the London area.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Computer Science, Robotics or a related technical field.
• Proficient in Python and modern deep learning frameworks.
• Experience with attention mechanisms and autoregressive architectures.
• Familiarity with diffusion models for multimodal data.
• Related experience in autonomous driving or robotics is a plus.
