Job summary

Jane Street in London is seeking a Research Engineer with robust ML experience and strong mathematical foundations to join our growing ML team. You will help drive the direction of our ML platform, bridging research and engineering across the stack to enable rapid experimentation and production-grade systems.

You’ll work on training and inference infrastructure, explore diverse modelling techniques, and contribute to scalable workflows for researchers.

Qualifications

• Experience building training and inference infrastructure.
• Strong mathematical background incl. optimization theory and linear algebra.
• Familiar with PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow and research tooling.
• Ability to maintain an organized, reproducible research codebase.
• Excellent English communication and collaborative skills.
