We’re investing in our Data capabilities and have a newly created opportunity for an experienced ML Ops Engineer to join our Data Delivery Team. As an ML Ops Engineer within our Chief Data Office, you’ll play a key role in advancing our data and technology strategy by enabling our cloud services for various business use cases.

In this specialist role, you’ll work closely with data delivery and data science teams to enable AWS and Azure environments as required. You’ll support the setup, maintenance, and enhancement of data lab environments and enable new tooling for data science and other uses. You’ll also support automated deployment and maintenance of data science and cloud-native functionalities from development to production.

What will your day look like?

1. Design and deliver cloud-based platforms on AWS and Azure
2. Own and drive the enablement of data lab environments for data science, including new tooling
3. Manage and promote data science models to higher environments
4. Deploy and maintain cloud services such as databases, ETL tooling, and storage
5. Collaborate with business and technical teams to define required services and communicate status
6. Explore new data analytics techniques and tools to improve efficiency and capabilities

What do we expect from you?

• ML Ops experience is essential
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or similar languages for data analysis
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud engineering
• Experience with cloud data platforms like AWS Redshift or Azure Synapse and automated Terraform deployment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations is advantageous
