Job summary

Telluvian in London is seeking an engineering intern to help build and maintain the infrastructure that supports our research and product. This role is primarily an engineering position rather than a research one, but you’ll work alongside interpretability researchers and learn how your work shapes what they build.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in computer science or related STEM.
• Comfortable writing Python.
• Some exposure to machine learning through coursework, personal projects, or self‑study.
• Curious, self‑motivated, and happy working in a small, fast paced team.
• Working familiarity with ML concepts. We aren't looking for you to do novel research, but you should understand what a model is doing and why it matters for the system.

Responsibilities

• Cloud infrastructure and resource management. Configuring compute, minimising costs, keeping things up.
• Work on inference for our ML systems. Getting models served reliably and efficiently.
• Hosting and maintaining our website. Occasional minor changes; this is not a frontend role.
• General backend engineering across the stack.
