Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking an ML Infrastructure Engineer in London to design and build infrastructure powering high-performance ML workloads. You’ll enable faster training, efficient inference and scalable deployment across distributed environments.

As a key early team member, you’ll own architecture, drive observability and performance benchmarking, and collaborate with ML engineers and platform teams to remove bottlenecks and push the boundaries of model efficiency and throughput.

Qualifications

• 4+ years working with Python and/or Rust
• Experience with highly distributed and scalable systems
• Strong understanding of high level system design
• Ivy League Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Curious and tech-driven personality

Responsibilities

• Design and build infrastructure for high-performance ML workloads.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, researchers and platform teams to optimize the stack.
• Own architectural decisions, enabling observability, reliability and performance benchmarking.
• Contribute to developer tooling and best practices for deployment and scaling.
