Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a skilled ML software engineer to join the Frameworks team, building the software stack that enables researchers and developers to use Graphcore hardware efficiently with Triton, PyTorch and other frameworks.

You will design, implement, optimise and support critical software, review code, write documentation and coordinate work across teams. Expect deep technical ownership and opportunities to influence the ML software landscape.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with ability to manage quality and complexity.
• Experience developing in Python and C++.
• Experience in compiler development.
• Ability to manage complex tasks with cross‑team dependencies.
• Clear communication and proactive collaboration.
• Interest in AI, ML frameworks and performance optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimise and support critical ML software for Graphcore hardware.
• Deliver new features, review code, and write technical documentation.
• Coordinate open‑ended technical work across teams and with upstream communities.
• Maintain deep technical ownership with visible impact on the ML software stack.
