Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a highly capable ML software engineer to help build framework support for its hardware. You will design, implement and optimise software that enables AI researchers to use Graphcore accelerators with Triton, PyTorch and other ML frameworks.

You will join the Triton team, review code, write docs and coordinate cross-team work, gaining deep technical ownership as the ML software landscape evolves.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills with ability to manage quality and complexity.
• Experience developing in Python and C++.
• Experience in compiler development.
• Ability to manage complex tasks with cross-team dependencies.
• Clear communication and proactive collaboration.
• Interest in AI/ML frameworks and performance optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimise and support critical software for Graphcore frameworks.
• Work on the Triton team, deliver new features and review code.
• Write technical documentation and coordinate cross-team technical work.
• Contribute across PyTorch, Triton, JAX and TensorFlow focusing on usability and performance.
