Job summary

LexisNexis GTO seeks a Machine Learning Engineering Lead to design, deploy, and govern production AI services for legal content products. You will lead architecture direction, MLOps practices, and responsible AI controls while guiding a team of engineers.

You’ll work with LLM/RAG capabilities, embeddings, and multi‑step agentic workflows, ensuring scalable, reliable systems and strong collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant hands‑on experience in machine learning engineering, software engineering, or data engineering.
• Experience designing, deploying, and operating ML/AI systems in production.
• Experience integrating ML services with enterprise systems and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for ML engineering and production AI/LLM capabilities.
• Guide architecture, MLOps, and responsible AI practices across projects.
• Design and deploy production AI/ML services for legal content products.
• Implement retrieval, embeddings, ranking, and summarisation features.
• Develop agentic workflows and tool orchestration in multi‑step AI processes.
• Mentor engineers and promote best SDLC practices.
