Job summary

Experis in the UK is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our high-performing data and AI team in Osterley, West London. This hybrid role requires two days onsite weekly and focuses on personalization, recommendation systems, ranking models, and content analysis to drive data-driven decision-making.

You will design, train, and deploy ML models, build scalable data pipelines, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Business teams.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• Experience designing and deploying ML models in production.
• Expertise in recommendation systems and personalization models.
• Strong Python development skills with ML frameworks.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and feature engineering.
• Knowledge of experimentation methodologies, including A/B testing.
• Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Understanding of MLOps, deployment, monitoring, lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and optimise ML models focused on personalisation and recommendations.
• Develop solutions for recommendation engines, ranking, user segmentation, content analysis.
• Evaluate and improve model accuracy, performance, and scalability.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for model training and feature engineering.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets at scale.
• Ensure data quality and reliable processing across the ML lifecycle.
• Deploy ML models into production and monitor performance over time.
