Job description

Our client is an award winning, independent UK sausage and burger manufacturer who operate in North Yorkshire.

We are looking for reliable and ambitious Mixing Operator's on a temporary to permanent basis.

Main Duties:

Maintain a clean and tidy mixing room

De boxing meat, taking off plastic from frozen meat.

Record all batch codes and label mixes correctly

Wear appropriate PPE for the product in use

Adhere to all health & safety procedures when using machinery or knives

Report issues or equipment damage to the line manager

Complete required paperwork and checks

Ensure segregation between meat and veg products

Take responsibility for issued knives

Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Previous food production experience is a plus (training provided)

Flexible and willing to work extra hours during busy periods

Full UK driving license

Monday to Friday, approx. 40 hours/week core 08.00 - 17.30 (the successful candidate must be flexible to work additional hours).
