Job summary

Connect Appointments are recruiting Mixing Operatives to join our food manufacturing client based in Shotts.

Working Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm, with an early finish every Friday. The role pays £13.05 per hour, rising to £15.25 after training, with weekly pay and paid breaks. Previous experience in food production is preferred and transport is advantageous due to site location.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a food production environment.
• The ability to follow verbal and written instructions and recipes accurately.
• Good attention to detail and strong time-keeping skills.
• Own transport preferable due to site location and working hours.

Responsibilities

• Mixing ingredients together accurately, following set recipes.
• Weighing out ingredients to the correct specifications.
• Working in line with company policies and procedures at all times.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained throughout the mixing process.
• Completing quality checks and production documentation accurately.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in line with food safety and hygiene standards.

What’s on offer?

As a Mixing Operative, your duties will include:

• Mixing ingredients together accurately, following set recipes
• Weighing out ingredients to the correct specifications
• Working in line with company policies and procedures at all times
