Job summary

Nexus People are recruiting for a Mixing Operative in Cleckheaton to weigh, dispense and mix chemicals for a range of personal care products. The role operates on a 3 on 3 off shift and pays £15.00 per hour, Temp to Perm.

You will carry out batch processing, operate equipment, follow SOPs and GMP, maintain cleanliness, complete paperwork and perform quality checks. Previous experience of up to 6 months in a similar role is required, with on‑the‑job training provided.

Qualifications

• 6 months previous experience in weighing, dispensing and mixing chemicals.
• Able to work on your feet and lift items within safe manual handling limits.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carry out batch processing
• weighing, dispensing, and mixing chemicals.
• Operate equipment to produce a wide range of personal care products.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), approved methods, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of equipment and work areas.
• Completing and signing paperwork
• Quality checks and testing
• Stock control
• Following health and safety procedures
• Assist the managers with any additional duties

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for applicants who have up to 6 months previous experience working in a similar role, weighing, disapesing and mixing ingredients.

You should be:

• Able to work on your feet and lift items (within safe manual handling limits)
• Comfortable in a warehouse environment
• A team player who communicates well
• Flexible and able to follow instructions
• Punctual, with a good work ethic
