Knight’s Companies in St. George is hiring a Mixer Truck Driver to safely operate a ready-mix truck, delivering concrete products and upholding company values. You will ensure safety, quality, and service with every delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A or B.
• Valid REAL ID in state of residence.
• Minimum of one year of CDL driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• No DUI/DWI violations within the past five years; no more than three moving violations in past three years.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Deliver concrete to job sites efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect loads for mix consistency and quality (slump, texture, color).
• Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departing the plant.
• Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service on deliveries.
• Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety standards.
• Support plant operations and assist team members as needed.

What You’ll Do

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required
• Valid REAL ID in state of residence required
• Must be at least:
  • 18 years of age for operations in South Carolina
  • 21 years of age for operations in Georgia
• Minimum of one (1) year of CDL driving experience required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), including:
  • No DUI/DWI violations within the past five (5) years
  • No more than three (3) moving violations within the past three (3) years
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Bilingual skills are a plus
