Qualifications

Overview

Mixer Operative. Working in partnership with the World's leading provider in manufacturing, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Mixer operative to work in the HU17 area in Hull. This is a full-time, ongoing role with potential for a permanent position after 12 weeks, with an excellent pay rate of £12.66/hr and opportunities for overtime paid at premium rates.

Shift pattern / Working hours
  • Monday to Thursday
  • 1.45pm to 10.45pm (£12.66 to £13.50 after 12 weeks)
  • Must be able to cover all shifts if needed
Start date / Duration

Mixer op positions will commence with immediate effect. This is ongoing, long-term work and will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Mixers will essentially make the substances for the sealants, paints etc
  • Lift and load heavy bags into machinery, operate machine to ensure smooth running
  • Lift up to 25kg bags consistently
  • Any other labour / warehouse duties as requested
  • General maintenance by ensuring that any issues are reported immediately and rectified where possible
  • Weighing substances & reading orders
  • You will be working with chemicals so PPE is required
Additional production duties
  • Machine Operator responsibilities for the manufacturing and production of cartridges and sealants
  • General production line work including housekeeping and lifting barrels onto the Stellram press
  • General maintenance by reporting issues with the lines and rectifying where possible
  • Quality checks, packing, paperwork
