Surrounded by stunning landscape and sandy beaches, our client is located on the beautiful isle of Orkney in Northern Scotland. They are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their independent mixed animal practice on a full-time basis.
The practice is RCVS accredited and the work is made up of 60% farm and 40% small animals. Herds are predominantly beef suckler with some dairy and sheep. There are 3 branches to the practice, all of which are well-equipped with everything you’ll need to provide the best standard of care including digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, ECG, and an in-house laboratory.
With one of the team going on maternity leave, and small animal work constantly increasing, there is an opportunity for a new vet to join our client’s friendly and experienced team. A genuinely mixed, small animal OR farm position is on offer.
The Rota:
• Full-time role
• Involvement in OOH rota
• Generally short days with lunch breaks
