My client is a very successful and highly regarded accountancy practice with multiple offices across the region. Joining their team in Swindon, your responsibilities in this role will be predominantly focused on compliance and review work, across personal tax, corporate tax and payroll services.

Your duties will include:

  1. Responsibility for oversight of all tax compliance work for the Practice, to include Corporation tax, Personal, trust and partnership tax, and Payroll, and associated reporting to the Managers & Partners
  2. Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns and business tax computations including supporting analysis, personal tax returns for individuals, partnerships and trusts, reviewing payroll and associated calculations
  3. Taking the lead and assisting on tax assignments
  4. Supervising, delegating and reviewing tax and payroll work of juniors
  5. Delivering information and communicate with clients in a timely and effective manner
  6. Assisting the Managers and Partners on ad-hoc project work

This role would be an ideal fit for a qualified CTA, though consideration will also be given to candidates holding ATT, ACA, ACCA or AAT, and highly experienced non-qualified candidates. An extensive background within a mixed tax function in a practice is essential, and applicants should also have a strong technical tax background.
