Job summary

ACCA Careers is partnering with a well-established UK chartered accountancy firm in Horsham to recruit a Mixed Tax Manager. The role offers exposure to a varied portfolio across industries and a chance to deliver high-quality tax work within a growing practice.

The successful candidate will hold a professional tax qualification (CTA/ACCA/ACA), manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, liaise with HMRC, and contribute to the development of the tax department.

Qualifications

• CTA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent professional tax qualification.
• Experience managing a client portfolio in tax.
• Strong knowledge of corporate and personal tax.

Description

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
• Prepare and review tax returns and computations.
• Provide tax planning advice to clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Manage and mentor junior members of the team.
• Ensure all tax work is completed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with company procedures.
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Inheritance tax planning.
• Profit extraction tax calculations.
• Contribute to the development of the company's tax department and services.

Profile

A Successful 'Mixed Tax Manager' Should Have

• Professional qualification in tax or accountancy (CTA, ACCA, ACA).

Job Offer

• An estimated salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
