Reporting to the Head of Mitigation, you will be responsible for providing Mitigation Specialist support to our Lead Adjusters. Whilst the role will be regional based on occasion you may be expected to assist outside of area. If of interest, there may also be opportunity to travel and assist in CAT work.
Your responsibilities will include:
Successful candidates must be time served damage management practitioners ideally having a minimum of 15 years practical experience in the damage management industry and qualified to BDMA Senior Technician and CSCS Health & Safety. They will have wide ranging knowledge of all aspects of damage management including mould remediation and structural and asset decontamination following fire, flood, explosion damage etc. They will have advanced knowledge of drying including the use of standard, high volume, desiccant, targeted and injection systems. They should also have experience of electromechanical restoration including ultrasonic and immersion cleaning and component drying, and of selective Ion electrode and ATP testing. They will be able to demonstrate a focus on quality of delivery, communication and organisational skills and a proven capability in negotiation, decision making and problem-solving. They will be working in a team environment to tight deadlines and an ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally is imperative.
Due to the geographic coverage of the role, travel will be required.
