Job Description

Sentenia Systems, located in Wakefield, MA., is seeking a telephone technician with experience working with MiTel to join their team. If you are self-motivated and a team player than Sentenia Systems would be a great place for you to work and grow.

Responsibilities:
  • Program, configuration, support, install, repair and upgrades of Mitel business telephone systems
  • Install, run and troubleshoot cable/jacks/speakers and horns
  • Work with voice and data carriers on cut overs and repairs
  • End user training on products
  • Site surveys
  • Assist sales/engineering team
  • Maintain technical proficiency on systems
Qualifications:
  • Certifications in two or more of the following MiVoice, MiCollab, Nupoint, MiContact Center, DVS (Encore)
  • Certifications in Avaya, Alcatel and Allworx phone systems a plus
  • Knowledge of Networking, VoIP environment, Routing Protocols, VLANS
  • Willingness to travel with some night and weekend work when needed
  • Ability to be part of on call rotation
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a team player, self-starter with customer service focus
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must possess basic diagnostic skills. Desired candidate should be able to troubleshoot from beginning to end and provide detailed information on resolution.
  • Ability to work at heights and on ladders
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
