Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a mission planning engineer to develop and deliver mission planning products for domestic and export customers. You will work across a broad lifecycle, collaborating with MBDA-France and external partners, while engaging in technical discussion and documentation.

The role involves on-site and hybrid working 3-4 days per week and requires British citizenship or dual UK nationality with BPSS clearance. A competitive benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Understanding of System Engineering Process is essential with recent experience in a systems engineering role.
• Experience in tools for Requirements Capture and Control (e.g. DOORS) and Configuration Management.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a collaborative environment spanning multiple teams and locations.
• Experience of technical problem solving and a strong ability to think analytically.

Responsibilities

• Work across a large range of the product lifecycle, from requirements definition to proving and certification.
• Collaborate with MBDA-Fr and local SMEs to understand system principles.
• Author key documents, internal and end-user documentation.
