Job summary

The Diocese of Guildford is seeking an experienced Mission Enabler – Mixed Ecology to help shape and embed a vibrant mixed ecology across the diocese. You will support clergy, lay leaders and volunteers to develop New Worshipping Communities and Fresh Expressions, with a focus on children, young people and families.

We are looking for a confident facilitator with collaborative approach, able to travel across the diocese and engage diverse church traditions in mission and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or developing Fresh Expressions, New Worshipping Communities or other pioneering ministries.
• Strong understanding of mixed ecology in parish life.
• Passion for mission, discipleship and church growth.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and equip churches to develop new expressions of church and mission.
• Help establish learning communities for experimentation and growth.
• Support churches discerning new opportunities for mission.
• Champion a culture where mixed ecology is part of diocesan life.
• Encourage churches to be more diverse, missional and connected with their communities.
