A charitable organization in Newcastle seeks a Social Media Coordinator / Warehouse Support to promote Mission Christmas. Responsibilities include managing social media channels, gathering content, and assisting with gift preparation. Ideal candidates should be organized, enthusiastic about Christmas, and possess a full UK driving license. This temporary position runs from 10th November to 23rd December, with working hours Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
This holiday season we are looking for Social Media Coordinator / Warehouse Support to join us for Mission Christmas in Newcastle.
Mission Christmas is the largest Christmas gift appeal in the UK. Our aim is to ensure every child wakes up to a present on Christmas morning, however for many children their family circumstances mean this may not be the case.
Families living in poverty face the daily dilemma of whether to buy clothes for their children, to heat the house or to put food on the table. Christmas is a luxury they simply cant afford. Rising costs have tipped many more families into financial hardship, and Christmas 2023 will see an even greater need for help from Mission Christmas.
By uniting our community, we can bring some Christmas magic to all children, making sure they have the joy of a present to open on Christmas Day.
A basic knowledge of the use of Office applications is essential, and understanding of the main social media platforms Facebook, X, LinkedIn & Instagram.
Were looking for someone who shares our passion for wanting to make sure all children have that magical Christmas moment of opening a present. Youll be organised, flexible, enthusiastic and most of all LOVE CHRISTMAS!
Youll also need to hold a current, full clean UK driving licence and have your own transportation.
