Your experience of systems engineering and weapon systems design will help you to join a Missile Systems Design team to develop and deliver the latest Complex Weapons capabilities for our Armed Forces.

About the job:

Our client currently requires a Systems Engineer to at the heart of the product development process, evaluating customer technical requirements to develop product requirement specifications, utilising system design and modelling techniques to study system behaviour and support design choices, planning and managing verification and validation to demonstrate cutting edge functionality and performance. You will gain a detailed understanding of missile system design as part of a diverse engineering development team creating new and innovative system solutions for our products. The role will include;

Application of systems engineering practices across the ‘V-model’ to develop complex productsManaging partners, including customers or suppliers and an ability to build excellent working relationshipsApplication of Defence, Military or other aerospace standards and design assurance processes is useful

About you:
As a Missile Systems Design Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Understanding of systems engineering tools (e.g. DOORS, Rhapsody) and applicable languages (SysML) is desirableExperience of managing engineering work packages to deliver value outcomes, including co-ordination of other engineering teams and SMEsA desire to develop and grow your systems engineering skillsExperience gained in defence or aerospace industry, in government or the armed forces is useful
