Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join our Management Information Services team, supporting our commitment to delivering an outstanding student experience.

In this pivotal role, you will provide flexible, proactive, and student-focused administrative and data processing support. You'll play a key part in ensuring that every student receives an excellent service at our Customer Advice and Support Centre desks across campuses and ensure that data processing is timely and accurate.

This role is ideal for someone who has outstanding customer service skills and has an excellent understanding of data compliance standards in line with funding agency rules as well as knowledge of Student Bursaries and the Student Loans (FE & HE).

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong eye for detail and excellent data input skills
  • Can handle sensitive student information with accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Is committed to providing a high level of customer service to both students and colleagues
  • Works well in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Essential requirements:

  • 5 GCSEs at Grade A*-C / 9-4, including Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent skills)
  • A relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g. Business Administration)
  • Demonstrable experience in data handling, preferably in an education or customer-facing environment
