Job summary

Experimental Group is hosting Miracle Pop-Up in Covent Garden, London. We’re hiring Barbacks for a fixed-term period (3 November to 28 December) with full-time or part-time hours and a chance to transition to a permanent position at one of our city venues.

You will assist bartenders by preparing juices, maintaining stock, and ensuring clean, organized workspaces. Prior bar experience or motivated beginners are welcome; English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Desirable—Experience working in a cocktail bar.
• Fluent level of English.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Organise and manage the production of juices, syrups, etc for a smooth operation of the bar.
• Ensure adequate stock is available for the Bartenders, prior to their shift (fruits, herbs, garnishes, spirits, syrups, glassware, tools, etc.).
• Ensure a steady supply of perfectly cleaned and dried glassware is at the bartender’s disposal prior to their shift.
• Ensure the bar, backbar and the glassware storage areas are clean and tidy prior to the shift (including the crushed ice machine, juice machine and rubbish area).
• Pay attention to possible health hazards and regulation violations during the day and report to manager.
• Apply all Food and Beverage and Safety Regulations.
