Job summary

Arcus FM Limited in Leeds is seeking a hands-on Minor Works Estimator to price a diverse range of projects, ensure profitability and compliant delivery, while collaborating closely with clients and suppliers.

You’ll review drawings, perform material take-offs, source materials, manage subcontractor networks and coordinate with internal teams to maximise in‑house resources and value engineering, maintaining safety and quality standards throughout.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating for construction projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong commercial awareness and value engineering skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, Access, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and competitive estimates for minor works projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Undertake material take-offs and source materials competitively.
• Ensure estimates cover labour, materials, subcontracts and compliance costs.
• Build and maintain subcontractor networks and collaborate with internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and HSQE standards.
