Job summary

Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking a proactive Minor Adaptations Technician to join the Community Equipment Service Team at the Radstock Road Depot, Midsomer Norton, on a fixed-term contract. You will install minor adaptations in service users' homes, ensuring safety and high standards while delivering customer-focused service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, practical, and motivated Minor Adaptations Technician to join our busy Community Equipment Service Team, based at Radstock Road Depot, Midsomer Norton on a fixed term contract.

About the Role

As a Minor Adaptations Technician, you will carry out a range of minor adaptations in service users' homes across Bath and North East Somerset, including the installation of:

• Grab rails
• Second mopstick stair rails
• External Kee Klamp rails

Working directly with vulnerable residents, you will provide a professional and customer-focused service, responding to queries and ensuring adaptations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You will be part of a supportive and dedicated team and will work closely with healthcare professionals, social care staff, clients, carers, and family members to help deliver positive outcomes for those who use our service.
