Job summary

Monmouth Diocese seeks a Ministry Area Leader to help this vibrant part of Cardiff grow in faith, confidence and shared mission. You will lead and enable a diverse team across churches and schools, strengthen vision and equip God’s people for mission.

The role requires sacramental and pastoral leadership, emotional intelligence, and the ability to navigate complexity while stewarding resources and supporting financial sustainability.

• Deep sacramental spirituality.
• Proven leadership in nurturing healthy, growing churches.
• Emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate complexity.
• Strong organisational and delegation skills.
• Confidence in teaching stewardship and supporting financial sustainability.
• Commitment to the ministry of all God’s people, including women and LGBTQIA+ clergy and laity.
