Job summary

Coastal Learning Partnership is seeking a dedicated Minibus Driver for Lulworth & Winfrith CE Primary School in Dorset to transport pupils before and after school. The role supports a small community and requires a safe, patient driver with Category D on their licence.

The position is part-time (10 hours per week) with a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027. Training and safeguarding checks will be completed as part of the recruitment process.

• A driver who has Category D on their licence (that’s most drivers who qualified before 1st January 1997)
• A driver who is prepared to engage with some minibus driver awareness training (2-hour training session arranged by the school)

Minibus Driver

Lulworth & Winfrith CE Primary School

Hours: 10 hours, Mon - Fri (7.45am to 8.45am and 2.45pm to 3.45pm)

Salary: Grade 4 SCP 3-5 £12.85 - £13.26 per hour

Actual Salary: £4,883 - £5,038.80 per annum

Starting November 2026 - Fixed term until 31.08.2027

We are seeking to appoint a Minibus Driver to transport pupils before / and after school.

The requirements of the role are:

• A positive character who will enjoy working with children
• A competent, safe driver with a clean licence
• A driver who has Category D on their licence (that’s most drivers who qualified before 1st January 1997)
• A driver who is prepared to engage with some minibus driver awareness training (2-hour training session arranged by the school)
• A qualified first aider or a willingness to be trained.
