Job summary

Cumnor House Sussex is seeking a reliable, professional School Minibus Driver to transport pupils safely to and from school on morning and afternoon runs. The role is a fixed-term of one year, starting September 2026, and totals 20 hours per week with potential overtime for sports matches, trips and outreach activities.

The ideal candidate will hold a Full driving licence (Cat D1 preferred), be at least 21, and have or be willing to obtain a First Aid qualification.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence, preferably with Cat D1 entitlement.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• First Aid qualification, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Transport pupils safely during morning and afternoon school runs.
• Remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Help create a happy, safe and respectful atmosphere on the minibus.

The position is fixed term for one year, commencing September 2026, and equates to 20 hours per week with additional overtime opportunities for sports matches, day trips and community outreach activities.
