Job summary

Greenshaw Learning Trust is seeking a dedicated Minibus Driver to support our Stoke Damerel Community College and Scott Medical & Healthcare College campuses. You will drive the minibus, ensure student safety, and work with staff to keep transport services running smoothly and professionally.

The role requires a clean D1/PSV Licence and strong time management, with a focus on reliable and courteous service to pupils, parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hold a current, clean and valid driving licence D1 unrestricted or a PSV Licence, D1 restricted (car licence obtained prior to 01/01/1997) considered.
• Able to establish good working relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
• Excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Drive the school minibus to transport students safely.
• Ensure safety, comfort and welfare of the children in your care.
• Keep vehicles clean inside and out and ensure roadworthiness before/after use.

About the Role

As a Minibus Driver, you will provide essential operational support that enables staff to focus on delivering high-quality teaching and learning. You will be a key point of contact for colleagues, pupils, parents and external stakeholders, helping to ensure processes run effectively and professionally across the school.

Main duties of the role include:

• Driving the school vehicle
• Responsible for the safety, comfort and welfare of the children
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of vehicles, inside and out and ensuring the vehicle is in a clean and roadworthy condition before and after use

We are looking for an individual who:
