Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a minibus driver to safely transport residents to and from activities at one of its care homes. The role requires assisting residents on and off the vehicle, maintaining safety, and coordinating with onboard staff while the vehicle is moving.

DBS disclosure is part of eligibility, and a positive driving record is essential. PCV licence with Cat D1 and CPC ongoing training are required, along with proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

• Carry out miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed

Job description

Minibus driver at Westbourne Tower Care Home, one of the homes run by Avery Healthcare Group. The role is to take residents safely and on time to and from activities, helping them on and off the vehicle and handling pickups and deliveries. The driver keeps their attention on the road while onboard staff deal with passengers during the journey. Fit depends on a PCV licence with Cat D1 and an acceptable driving record, and the post carries a DBS check that Avery pays for.
